# Proposal Types

There are two categories of proposals posted on the voting portal:

* **Core Proposals:** Proposals posted by the ZilSwap team. The voting outcome determines what actions are to be done by the ZilSwap team.<br>
* **Community Proposals:** Proposals posted by the ZilSwap community. This is a way for the community to share their views and put up proposals of their own. Proposals with strong community support will be reviewed and actioned by the ZilSwap team.
